Thats some widely distributed video of some guy shooting mountain goats or something similar.
Then he's using a Barrett or some other 0.50Bmg on the goats.
No goat or any other animal larger than a rabbit ever popped like that.

You're exactly right - it's not a sniper video. It's rock chucks (whatever they are) being shot out West somewhere. I once tracked the original down to a hunter website where it was described for what it is.
