Well thank you, but I didn't mean to make you cry.
I got lucky, blessed by God...who knows-- probably both, but she has truly been a blessing to me.
She straightened me out, got me on the right path and made my life fun and meaningful. Sometimes, I think she just wanted a guy who was a "little bit bad" and one that liked living on the edge.
Today, I had "Whatever Day" flowers delivered to her at her office. From the group Chicago, she does "Color My World". BTW...LOL That is our song and became such on our second date.
Yes, I am a romantic, I can't help it. I followed my grandfathers example. When I was a kid, I happened to find love letters he had written to my grandmother during WW II when he was out to sea on the battleship USS Pennsylvania.
Unlike me, the man was quit a poet and wordsmith, but I follow him in spirit. I could not help but feel his words and example...truly a wonderful man. He had been married and was still madly in love for over 60 years when he passed on. I wont live as long, but I hope to live as well.
Have a Great Day....
quit=quite...I hate it when I do that! ;>)
Well thank you, but I didn't mean to make you cry.

No, I'm a girl, and it was a good kind of cry.
BTW, you made me cry again when you talked about your grandpa.
