Have you heard anything else?
I didn't know anything about it until I saw her mother & aunt on Fox News tonight.
8/28 Amber Alert. She could be anywhere in the country by now if she's still alive.

Authorities have been searching for Casey Crowder, 17, in and around Dumas since she turned up missing on Sunday. A Level II Amber Alert was issued yesterday. The family is holding strong that Casey will be found ok.
Melinda Crowder is leaning on support from her sister and family in the search for her daughter Casey.
"The last 48 hours have been a complete nightmare," Crowder says.
Casey was driving Sunday morning from her boyfriend's house south of Dumas back home in Pine Bluff when she called her mom just after 6 am.
"She was just her normal self. She had run out of gas, but that she would take care of it and for me not to worry, she'd call me if she needed me and she never called, Crowder says.
So she thought she was ok until she never made it home. After the Amber Alert was issued Monday more police have joined the search many on 4 wheelers. Desha County Sheriff Don Smith says a nine mile search around the area her car was found has turned up nothing.
"At this time, it's getting kind of frustrating. I know my men are getting tired, they need a little rest, so do I, but we're going to resume the search first thing tomorrow morning," Smith says.
Melinda says her daughter's disappearance doesn't make sense because she has never run away from home and, her mom says, shed never leave those she loves.
"It'll be ok and I know that someone knows something. Someone would've had to seen her, she can comeback to us."
Police will expand their search area Wednesday, as Crowder waits in Dumas for her daughter.
"If Casey by some way can hear this or see this, she knows how much I love her, she knows how much her family loves her, she knows how much her friends love her, we're all here waiting for her to come home," Crowder says.
Casey is a senior at Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff. She sings in the choir there and at church on Sundays. First Christian Church in Pine Bluff held a prayer vigil Tuesday night for Casey. Colleen Nick, mother of missing child Morgan Nick, for which Arkansas Amber Alert system is named after, has also contacted the family to offer her support and ideas to help. Police are also contacting national television programs to try and get Casey Crowder's face and story in front of as many eyes as possible.
If you have any information, youre urged to contact the Desha County Sheriffs Office at 870-877-2327.

This doesn't sound good at all.
Once I had to walk home from a place way out of town, in the wee hours too and some guy stopped and offered me a ride into town and home. The catch was that there was no door latch on the inside of the passenger door of his jeep.
Yeah, right I'm going to get in! And this was 20 years ago. For sure today everything is more dangerous.
At least it's a "real" Amber Alert. The system is abused with custody battles -- that's just not the same as a disappearance like this, not nearly as awful.
Pray she's well.
Thanks!
Wondering why her mom didn't call the cops.
bump. Just saw this on foxnews.com

it says alot about how many sickos we have roaming around in this country, that a person who has some auto disablement, winds up dead.
I absolutely agree with you.
