It's about getting to the point where an endorsement from the GOP in a primary is going to have to be used as a red flag. Same as when the NYT's endorses someone.

That is an excellent point.

Yes, there is only one Republican in this primary, yet the GOP gives money to the scumbag liberal. Un-friggin-believable.

They do it all the time but every time before the scumbag liberal RINO was tne incumbent. This time there is no incumbent in the race and the NRCC has acted inappropriately.

IMHO, the GOP establishment's stand is not so much about electability as it is support for open borders. A Graf victory would force the open borders crowd to take notice.

Exactly. They could care less what we, the (informed) voters, think.

I am originally from Tucson. My brother (a conservative business owner) is helping Graf out. He told me last weekend that Randy is slightly ahead in the polls.

The NRCC clearly thinks that Graf cannot win the General Election, and I agree with that judgment. I don't think it suggests that the NRCC has gone "Torie" as it were, as to ideology.

They rarely think a conservative can win anything...which of course often becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy...especially because they withhold the resources needed to succeed.

He'll win the primary. The Dems down there are going to bury him with money, I fear, they've both raised a ton. Graf hasn't done much to raise money, and the NRCC's disloyalty is only going to make him spend more on the primary.

They always call themselves centrists, it sounds better than RINO.

Graff took Bush to task over the border and other issues.
Kolbe is soft on the border as well and didn't appreciate being put in the spot light. Bush, Kolbe and cronies have not forgotten this and have put the pressure on the NRCC. This has farther reaching ramifications as many Republican retirees in Dist. 8 are threatening to stay home during the general if Huffman wins the primary. This could impact the Kyle/Pederson race and well as numerous state issues that are on the ballot. The NRCC is being completely irresponsible involving themselves in the primary and upon calling them I found out that this is the only primary they are involved in. Andrew Sasoli is the Assistant Political Director for the RNCC, and is the manager in charge of financing the Huffman adds... 202-479-7000 and Mike McElwain is the political director at the same number. I have yet to receive a response from Sasoli although it was promised. The receptionist refuses to connect me with the Director. Maybe you will have better success.
I am not part of Graffs campaign though I do support him. Chances are I will change to a independent if this race goes to Huffman. The win for Huffman will illustrate that the corruption in the party can no longer be tolerated.
I ask all in Dist. 8 to be sure you talk to at least two friends or acquaintances about the reason they should vote for Graff. Huffman voted 90% of the time with Gabriel Giffords(Dem) and 85% of the time in line with Governor Napolitano (Demo) I personally would rather have Giffords over Hoffman if Graff loses. RINOs get away with to much deception. a democrat can be attacked.
Nough said!

Ha, Stick that in your ear and smoke it NRCC. Graff just Kicked your a--. You wasted 200,000 dollars in contributors money for what reason? To support a left wing RINO! You need to open a RINO preserve, they are an endangered specie.
You will never-ever see another contribution from me. I wish I could sue your sorry butts for misuse of contributions and deliberate distribution of misinformation. I think your NRCC, like Jim Kolbe, are has-beens and should both crawl into a dark hole (together) and cave the entrance in behind you, permanently. Man have you made some enemies over the CD8 race. Bunch of gutless craven cowards is all you are! Are you out there McElwain (Worm)?
Oh, I never did receive a return call as promised by your office (Sasoli) and this refusal magnifies your orgs. lack of credibility among the GOP.
Have a good week!
I will!

Yep, darned right. No pun intended! Now we have to see if we can beat Giffords. This is the first election I have ever been involved in where the Democrats outspent the coservative republican attacking the moderate repub. This is going to be one heck of a fight to keep dist 8. We will need every bit of support both in and out of state/dist. to win this as the radical greens and far left NGOs are already setting up shop to run negative ads against Graff.
Damn the torps!

Interesting developments. The NRCC just dropped all advertising for Graf two weeks ago. Last week the NDCC dropped all ads for Giffords. Of further interest is the report circulating that Giffords is frequently seen at the Arizona Inn with "friends". The Arizona Inn is well known for the large number of people, practicing alternative lifestyles, who meet, party and rent overnight rooms there. This is a high dollar resort that most lay people cannot afford(no pun intended). The election is still neck and neck.

Ha, NRCC is running television ads calling Gifford a hypocrite. This after they said in the news that they were halting all further ads. I'm wondering when the NDCC will jump back in.
