What children and grandchildren? That's why you don't see kids... they got rid of them or didn't have them.
On the other hand... school day. The only kid we see so far is the one looking at the lady like she's on crack.

Where are all the "youts"? Why do all the protestors look like they're at least
40 .
80 years old except for that one girl?

"Greatest generation my arse."
More and more it appears that the "Greatest Generation" label is nothing more than well.... spin.
This business of "Bring the Troops home" as it is yelled by so many idiots is one of the worst possible things that they could be doing if they were truly concerned about the Troops and their morale.

I'm confused.
Going to the newspaper site the header for the gallery of photos says, "More than 1,000 people had streamed into Washington Square by 11 a.m. to speak out against the Bush administration's policies in Iraq, while a few blocks south, military veterans and civilians spoke in support of the U.S. troops at a 300-strong gathering in Liberty Park."
Yet, most of the captions read, "Hundreds of anti-Bush, anti-war protesters lead by SLC Mayor Rocky Anderson and other political activists rallied at Washington Square.
Seems like a pretty clear distinction between 'more than a thousand' and 'hundreds'.

If these doofuses and others like them hadn't been intent on dividing and distracting the country -- and, most importantly to them, reliving their youth -- for the past three years, we'd probably have Iraq shipshape by now, and most of the troops home. Such supreme idiots.

Funny that no one is holding a poster that says "terrorists come and kill me and my family" because that is really what they're asking for.

These people don't understand that the Islamo-Fascists will still try to kill them --- even though they disagree with President Bush. I think that the majority of these people actually DO realize this...it's pretty frickin' obvious by now.
They DO NOT realize that they only have the freedom to protest because of the constant fight against islamofaschists and terrorists that a few of our committed leaders are engaged in.
Unfortunately, these fools think that what happens in the Middle East won't happen here, and it will likely take them seeing their loved ones blown to bits, raped, beheaded, stoned, tortured, (place your atrocity here), before they wake up.
Of course, by then it will be too late.
That's why I cannot stand these people...they are a direct threat to our existence.

A ha! I was wondering what happened to the soldier that Patton slapped during WWII. Still crying after all these years. ;-)

Patriots outnumbered by Rats 3-to-1 in Salt Lake.
If those numbers for the two rallies are anywhere near accurate, that's truly a pathetic commentary on the state of conservative activism. Sorry, folks, but there's no excuse for this. Not in Utah.
