(AP) TEHRAN, Iran Iran's president defiantly refused to compromise as a U.N. deadline for his country to stop enriching uranium arrived Thursday, saying Tehran would not be bullied into giving up its right to nuclear technology.
Iran's refusal to heed the U.N. Surprise?
Iran has agents in every country in the Mid-East and around the world. they are making their big play as rulers of the Middle-east and only a major slapdown will stop them. Its going to get nasty.
Yep. It may get nasty for the Mullahs and Ahmadinejad...but justice is a beautiful thing.
Why shouldn't they defy deadlines? All they will get is more deadlines and more tough talk.
BRING OUT THE COMFY CHAIR!
(By now most anyone with half a brain should have learned that the UN is not a useless waste of taxpayer's money, it is much less than a useless waste of taxpayer's money.)
I am sure Ahmadinejhad and the Mullahs have a great hiding place. The people that get creamed are the thousands that they have acting as human shields over their underground nuclear facilities.
Still waiting for the "Mother of All Battles" comment.
It seems there is now a choice for the Bush administration and Israel.
1) Do nothing and have another cold war type stand off.
2) A big strike using a lot commandos and the air force with no guarantee will we get everything.
Not only that, but they have growing likeminded cells across North Africa as well, and Europe. This is shaping up to be a historic conflict unlike any other. The UN/EU foot-dragging has been ridiculous but unsurprising.
The Shiites are setting the stage for a Caliphate. Once that happens, they will not be stopped until Europe is occupied and it rallies around a strong Christian leader, a modern Charlemagne.
