I am proudly endorsing Tom Gallagher for Governor of Florida. In a day when moral standards are up for grabs, Tom will be a champion for the family. He will work to provide genuine school choice for every Florida child, and he understands that the courts must be reigned in.
Dr. James Dobson National Conservative Leader
From the Campaign:
To divert attention from his opposition to Governor Jeb Bush on the liberal class-size spending plan and his support for amnesty, his support for civil unions for gay couples, and his pro-choice views, Charlie Crist and his campaign team are attacking Tom Gallagher personally.
After a quick review of the facts below, Republican voters will see through this smokescreen.
Claim #1:
Charlie Crist claims to be a Reagan Republican and a Jeb Bush Republican.
Facts:
Wrong, Mr. Crist. Mr. Crist is not a conservative, and his liberal positions have netted him the endorsements of the Sierra Club and Watermark Online, a Florida Gay and Lesbian newspaper.
· Crist has broken ranks with conservatives and supports a liberal big spending plan that Jeb Bush says will raise taxes.
· Crist supports amnesty for illegal immigrants.
· Crist supports civil unions for gays.
· Crist is pro-choice.
· Crist is supported by casino interests including Donald Trump and will not take a clear stand to halt the expansion of gambling in Florida.
Claim #2:
In an attempt to divert attention from his sorry stands on the issues, Charlie Crist and his 527s are attacking Tom Gallagher personally and claim that Gallagher is awaiting trail for ethics charges.
Facts:
Wrong again, and Mr. Crist should be ashamed of himself. He is distorting the facts.
· Earlier this year, a reporter made Tom aware of a 1991 ethics opinion that indicated that he may have wrongly held stock in two companies back in 2002.
· Tom asked the Ethics Commission to review those stock holdings and give him a recommendation.
· Simultaneously, politically-motivated ethics complaints were filed against Gallagher.
· The Commission investigated both the allegations in the complaints and the stock holdings that Tom had brought to the Commissions attention (these holdings were not mentioned in the complaints).
· In July of this year, the Commission found that there was no reason to believe the Treasurer had intentionally violated any of our states ethics laws.
· Every single issue raised by others in their complaints was dismissed. The Commission found that the Treasurer did not misuse his office; that he did not give preferential treatment to any company in which he owned stock; and that the Treasurer did not use any inside information for his personal gain.
· Tom has served as a public official for 30 years, and has never had an ethics complaint filed against him until this year. The Commissions conclusion validated Toms character and his commitment to leadership on behalf of the people of Florida.
· The Commission found that the Treasurer may have improperly held small amounts of stock in two insurance-related companies for brief periods several years ago. Both issues involve technical violations, and again, the Commission found that there was no intentional wrongdoing on the Treasurers part.
· There will be no further investigation by the Commission. Tom is not awaiting trial. Experts conclude that a penalty, if any, would be a small fine.
Remember, vote on the issues on September 5th and elect Tom Gallagher our next Governor.
Ludicrous.
I love Dr. Dobson but I don't know why he's butting into the gubernatorial race but ignoring the huge senate race. He needs to come out against Harris and make it clear that Christian conservatives don't stand for the sort of moonbat stuff Harris is talking about. Most importantly, an endorsemnt of McBride by him would be major.
Floriduh Voter alerted us to this. It's a must see for anyone undecided.

Ouch!
A must read.
Why hasn't Barney Frank come out and endorsed the new champion of Gay, Les, Bi, Tran, Half Dog Half Cat "Rights."
"Chawlie I endosssse you."
A must read for anyone undecided - www.theanticrist.com
He isn't happy to be used by our enemies like the Rev. Jagoff.
If you're pro-LIFE, against illegal immigration, against eminent domain, pro-2nd amendment, and conservative in every way, Gallagher is your guy.
Crist has broken with JEB on stem cells, on euthanasia, on energy production, on gun rights, on insurance reform, on abortion, on gay marriage, on education boondoggles, and Charlie supports the Senate immigration bill. Charlie's commercials say that he is the best one to carry on JEB'S legacy, the real question is - when will the Attorney General of Florida enforce the truth in advertising laws?
I have read that Charlie Crist is friends with Donald Trump.
Trump even hosted a fund raiser for Charlie Crist. Trump tried to take an elderly woman's home away from her for his casino in Atlantic City. Trump favors eminent domain, and Charlie Crist would OWE Trump.
Like your property, Floridians? If so, IMO, I would not vote for Crist.
Gallagher has nothing to lose because he is losing. He made his pitch to the wrong group of conservatives, and he pays for it.
Independents and undecideds have never been Dobson supporters, and this endorsement is the kiss of death for Gallagher.
TUESDAY will tell my FRiend...
Fair enough, but if your man wins, I will doubt it will be because of Dodson, unless it is a 2 point margin. But your man isn't going to win.
Dr. Dobson isn't perfect, but he's certainly not a 'clown'.
Dr. Dobson is respected by a HUGE percentage of Christian conservatives NATIONWIDE !! Including my family!
LOL.. so if Gallagher wins by 2 points or less I can start a thread with the title I TOLD YOU SO !!!!.. and you will bump it everyday until the General Election... ?
Well maybe once a month. All things in moderation, say I.
