I am proudly endorsing Tom Gallagher for Governor of Florida. In a day when moral standards are up for grabs, Tom will be a champion for the family. He will work to provide genuine school choice for every Florida child, and he understands that the courts must be reigned in.

FINAL DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION: THE CHOICE IS CLEAR
Gallagher Team,
This is an important day. We have approximately 20 hours before the polls open in what is shaping up to be one of the most important primary elections of our time. There is a lot to think about this Labor Day weekend. People are going to be taking time away to be with their families, enjoy some football, and get some rest.
However, while you are spending time with your families, remember that tomorrow will be an important time for your families as well. Voters will face a clear choice as to whether to continue on the conservative path blazed by Governor Jeb Bush or to choose a more liberal path blazed by the likes of Howard Dean and John Kerry. Remember as you make that choice that our Party will not be made stronger by seeking détente with the Democrats on issues that will define who we are as a society. The choice is clear.
Tom Gallagher will protect our economic strength by not raising taxes, and he will take leadership on the homeowners’ insurance crisis. Tom Gallagher will work with Congress to protect our borders and stop the flow of illegal immigration that threatens our security. And Tom Gallagher will protect our families by defending traditional marriage and the unborn.
Charlie Crist has broken ranks with conservative leaders and endorsed the liberal Democrat class-size amendment that was part of Bill McBride’s education plan and which even Jeb Bush has said will raise your taxes. Charlie Crist has irresponsibly endorsed the Senate Immigration Plan which provides illegal immigrants with amnesty before our borders are secured. Charlie Crist supports the Howard Dean plan of civil union-style gay marriage. And Charlie Crist is pro-choice.
Please urge your friends, neighbors, and family to turn out tomorrow and support Tom Gallagher for Governor. The future of our state and the future of our Party will depend upon your actions.

Well, today is the day. FV, I admire you for standing up to the personal attacks. Some think it is real conservative to attack FReepers personally and some people project a whole lot, a trait more akin to that of the libs than to true conservatives. It is the "haters call people they hate haters" syndrome. Hang in there, no matter what. Ronald Reagan had a tough time with his so-called "conservative" supporters, too.

I am happy to report that the truth hasn't changed since yesterday.
(Finally, I'm glad that Haleigh Poutre who was going to be euthanized in Massachusetts is now showing improvements. There was a call to action to save Haleigh which freepers played a part in. Terri's Legacy Threads are saving lives. The death industry is real and children are targeted for organ harvesting. Haleigh is spared).
While I know next to nothing about the man, I'd go out on a limb and say he's probably against it. ;-)

It would be nice if the "truth" would actually be told instead of rumor, innuendo, lies and smears.

I voted for Gallagher, but certainly not because Dobson endorsed him. TG's repackaging as a strict social conservative struck me as opportunistic and somewhat insincere (regardless of whether or not I agreed with certain points).
Dobson's endorsing the source of those rumors, innuendoes, lies, and smears, and he supposedly doesn't do ANYTHING that's not in the Lord's name.
I'm not degrading God. I leave that to His most fervently self-appointed followers.

It is not incumbent on me to refute--it is incumbent on the disseminator of those rumors, innuendoes, smears, and lies to prove their veracity. You have had ample opportunity to show evidence supporting your claim. You have not. You have engaged in the sin of calumny.
