because we were unaware that, when two planes are less than half a kilometre apart, they appear as a single blip on the radar screen.

WRONG. Each aircraft squawks a different code. They would not appear as one..

The voices in my head tell me that Elvis and Jimmy Hoffa had to have been involved. My dog has confirmed this.

40% of adults are too stupid to get in out of the rain. There are many with PhD's in this group.

Yeah, you can get about a third of the country to believe anything.

My dog has confirmed this.

Yes, but can your dog drive? If not, then I don't believe him.

This is the perfect example of "tyranny of the minority", and how insidious their actions really are. It proves that we cannot rest from putting these chumps in their proper place, otherwise, as we see, more and more dingbats will decide to take the bait.

Thus, the covert switch. Instead of crashing into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the flights were diverted by FBI agents on board to Harrisburg, Pa., where the passengers from all three planes were herded onto UA Flight 175 and flown on to Cleveland Hopkins and their deaths. By then, unmanned Predator drones had been substituted for the passenger jets and directed into their high-profile targets. The original planes and their passengers were finished off over the Atlantic.

Cheese, Louise, Prof. Dewdney. If you're going to come up with a totally unsupported theory, at least come up with one that doesn't cost so much money. It wasn't Muslim terrorists who took over the planes. Instead the government installed their own remote control technology into the cockpits, along with a gas system to render the pilots inoperative. That way you don't have the risk of someone seeing what went on at the Harrisburg airport and the passengers all still die without having to hope nobody finds the wreckage of the plane that was ditched in the ocean.

Unfortunately, somebody will probably believe what I wrote. But at least it was a moderately reasonable way to carry out such an operation. The professor's plan would never have been approved.

Shalom.

They're the same idiots that in 1941 thought that... the Germans... were flying the Jap planes that laid waste to Pearl Harbor. And that the whole, Japanese navy could sink in a beam sea.

How do you get the tinfoil hat to stay on your dog's head? Did you cut out ear holes?

"By then, unmanned Predator drones had been substituted for the passenger jets and directed into their high-profile targets."

Yeah, the LIVE VIDEO I was watching that morning when the second plane hit SURELY showed a Predator. That is, if the Predator was cleverly disguised as a much larger twin-engined passenger jet.

The sheer idiocy of these "theories" is breathtaking.

Our enemies hang their shingles on Main Street, and a University of Western Ontario professor puts it down to a carefully planned substitution of transponder codes.

I've known a number of conspiracy theorists and they don't seem to be able to latch onto reality if their theory is challenged. Some of these pople don't want to believe that there was a reason for the Crusades, that there exists in this world a religion which can be so evil (they usually reserve that belief for Christianity), or that Conservatives can be good and decent human beings. I think they cannot accept the fact that there are millions of individuals in this world who have no regard for their right to exist...because, "Hey I'm so nice, unlike mean ole Conservatives who, of course, have no right to exist."

No kidding. IF the federal government wanted to 1.) make it appear that hijacked airliners had struck the WTC & Pentagon, and 2.) kill all the people on the missing airliners... wouldn't the easiest, cheapest, most believable, most obvious strategy be to actually DO it?

Now, sure I don't have me one of them there phd thingies...

See, this is all Ralph Nader's fault! If he'd have stopped insisting that products require NO common sense whatsoever, the gene pool would not be so contaminated with this kind of stupidity.
