Congressman John Murtha is gearing up on all fronts.

Not only has he got Max Cleland coming back to Johnstown to stage an Anti-War Rally the day before our Boot Murtha Rally (announced by Cleland on the HBO "Bill Maher Show" last Friday night)... But he's also laying siege to the hotel and motel rooms in Johnstown.

Vets for the Truth's Boot Murtha Rally
is set for Sunday, Oct. 1st at 2 p.m.

Max Cleland's Anti-War Rally on behalf of Congressman Murtha
has been set for Saturday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m.

We have tried to get more rooms blocked out for us, but have been refused.

This was the first thing I saw when I woke up.

But really, it's not surprising. He doesn't give a rat's @ss about active duty military, doesn't give a rat's @ss about the Marine Corps-This is what we can expect, and what the voters of this district should know...like taking candy from a baby, he doesn't give a $hit about taking beds from vets. I would think the voters would be mortified.

I was going to flippantly say, I so can't wait to see him packing, that I'd get a job working as a maid if he were going to stay in a hotel, there. When it occured to me that he'll probably have people doing just that.

Let us prayerfully hope that as time passes, all the 12^th district shall see just what the hell is going on here. Does western PA want to support anti-war people at this point in time. I surely hope not. Max is a slime ball as we know. Let us hope the good folks from Murtha's district see what is going on at this point and rally behind Diane.

Seriously, someone should put up some tents which would accomodate sleeping bags for long distance travelers. They could hit the local McDonalds restaurant restrooms in the morning to do the sss thing ("s, shave and shower").

Of course Murtha will be nestled in to a presidential suite of a nice hotel like Kerry was put up during the Lafayette Park camp in by the WH.
