I think this is posted.
Posted earlier, but worth a repost, IMO
They kept it going because they were working on a book.
I think the upcoming "movie" about Joe and Valerie Plame is going to end up as a double feature with the "movie" about Jon Bonet Ramsey's murderer wannabe.
Once again Hitchens knocks down the sand castles of the left. Hopefully Armitage, Powell and Tenet will rot in political hell for this.
Isn't there something these people can be charged with?? Everyone from Powell, to Armitage, to Corn, to Fitzgerald, to Wilson(s). This is incredible hubris alright!!
They need to be made to answer for their actions and previous malicious comments.
What is it with liberals????????
I notice how the "katrina" coverage is/will conveniently distract the media from having to report what they don't like about this story.
PURE propaganda!
OMG!!!!
"It is particularly satisfying that this admission comes from two of the journalistsMichael Isikoff and David Cornwho did the most to get the story wrong in the first place and the most to keep it going long beyond the span of its natural life."
So why did these two dunder-heads finally decide to let the truth out? I'm confused on this one. Hell, Sandy Burglar was swept under the rug.. why didn't they do the same here??? Help anyone...?
Some type law suite should come out of this but I'm unqualified to know what kind, if any.
The only real crime here is the theft of taxpayer $$$ by Fitzgerald. I don't believe that his SP investigation been shut down yet!
Yeah, slap on the wrist a la Sandy Burglar.
Sickening, isn't it.
It all ends with a whimper instead of a bang and the DBM moves on to a re-hash of "Bush's failures" with Katrina.
Disgusting b-------'s!
It's interesting that for a year the media KNOWINGLY promoted a phony smear campaign against the Bush administration. They only ended it after 2 "journalists" used it to cash in on a book. What is even more pathetic is that the Republicans in general (and Armitage in particular) didn't reveal the truth.
Corn and Isikoff were hoping for a different ending, though. They ain't Woodward and Bernstein.
Right.... it has all the earmarks of a Rovian plot.
