Set free after two weeks in captivity, FNC Reporter Steve Centanni and Cameraman Olaf Wiig sit down with Greta for their first television interview since returning to the U.S. What happened during their ordeal? Tune in tonight for the complete story.
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
I think she has a LOT more of the story to tell and I don't think she was grandstanding at all. I truly believe she was concerned for her colleague's welfare.
"...and I definitely want to hear more from the latter though I'm guessing she will be protective of her network and sources."
And some revelations could have regional/international ramifications.
Your computer shuts down when you go to FoxNews.com? Wow, I've never heard that before. Can any computer techies out there help Txsleuth?
I don't know if Jennifer Griffin has a blog. I'll try to find out, and get back to you if she does...
"FRinos"... good one! :o)
I hate that I missed it but my brother drug me to see Lyle Lovett - NOT my favorite entertainer....and it was a loooong two and a half hours.....again, hate that I miss Greta (and that's certainly something new - me hating that I miss her show...)
Caroline Glick of J Post embedded in Iraq when we first went in. But she had to finesse her press credentials because Kuwait would not permit her to set out from there with Israeli credentials and Kuwait was the launching point for all the embeds.
Israeli journalist are not allowed into Arab countries. But the coverage of the Lebanese War and the Pali areas can be obtained very comprehensively from Israeli and US sources that do not need to risk their lives and integrity.
It has become patently obvious that Western journalism is being used as an incendiary tool in the terrorist's arsenal. The way to end that is to not cover places where the access has propaganda strings. I hope that in part that will be one lesson coming out of the Lebanese War.
I think we understood this better when the Soviets had their show trials for instance.
OMG....that is scary!
Reading the riot act to a group of possible armed savages in a dark alley? How about I say her story is a bit embellished.
I never said she wasn't concerned about her colleagues by the way.
Yes...I got to that site...and all of a sudden I get a big box in the center of the screen that says that Yahoo is having trouble and will have to shut down..and about 10 seconds later...the computer goes back to my wallpaper.
It does that if I try to go on the Washington Times website also...just those 2..but it is frustrating.
Awww, I like Shep. I know he's not that popular around here though!
Also check out the thread about Centanni and Wiig converting to Islam.
I can. Get a Mac. I hate to say that, but they work.
Did you get the impression that the captors knew who they were taking? I heard Steve say he knew they googled his name and that is when they said they thought he was a spy.
Absolutely.
I like her knowledge of the region as well as her reporting. The last thing I have ever found her to be is a grandstander.
Yep, saw it. Hated it. Believe what you want, but most folks around here don't let that kind of garbage lay around for very long. It starts to stink up the place really fast.
I think you have it right, as well.
Just finished watching it on the Fox website.
I noticed several things about it that made me say "what?".
I'll watch again tomorrow but I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed anything.
Off for beauty rest.
No, we Palestinians only hang you up in the town square by your intestines and let our children use your blood for fingerpaint. If you're Jewish, that is.
Not Jewish, Olaf? Then no problem. Make the video extolling the virtues of Islam.
