Today, CNNs Kyra Phillips got caught, well, with her skirt down. Someone in CNN left her mic open and on the air as she went to the loo in the middle of President Bushs speech commemorating the Katrina anniversary. So instead of getting the presidents remarks, CNNs audience got that and Phillips in some girl-chat. Click to watch/listen.

"Excuse me, can I borrow a square?"
"I'm sorry, but I don't have a square to spare."
"ONE SQUARE?"
"No. I can't spare a square."
Sounds good to me. Wahlberg is an executive producer and supposedly much of the series are based on his early experiences in Hollyweird.
IT'll be interesting to see which Turkey gets the fork.
You believe what you want to believe, I will believe what I want to. ;-)
ROFL.
Who boy. How do you ever make something like that right?
If she already has a bad relationship with her sister-in-law, it probably won't matter much.
Her brother has to feel pretty uncomfortable with this though.
Good for YOU!
You took the hash you got...and got the scoop. Just remember that poor guy in Iraq at Thanksgiving that said he was eating with the President.
I have always felt sorry for him.
Excellent observation!
Our pastor is tone deaf. It is very important that he turn it off during hymns.
Especially if he agrees.
True...but there is a difference between tension and public announcement.
It won't matter, but it will make it worse no doubt. Yikes. I do feel sorry for her brother.
It was funny though.
"Hey, that's Enrico Pallazzo!"
my whole point this morning....was msm makes such a huge deal of hearing President Bush or Cheney say a bad word will their mics are live with out them knowing........
This is MSM-Drive By Media.... how many times do we give them a pass. My gosh she was in the rest room!!! Can you imigine if this would have been a FNC reporter... it would be all over cnn, Jay Leno, Comedy Central...blah blah blah, but Kera is going to get a break. Typical!
Bump for reference.
The media is crazy unfair. But so is life. We just have to figure out how to do it around them when possible and with them on our terms.
Ideas have consequences. : D.
For such a "professional" news organization, CNN certainly seems to have more than their fair share of faux pas.
Could you tell if the zipper was going up or going down ? Closing motion is faster, and so higher pitched than opening. From the sound of it, it sounded like she was closing. I could be wrong.
hee hee.... well that was (1) good for her marital relations since she said great things about her husband; and (2) bad for in-law relations since she ripped her brother's wife as a "control freak" and she has to protect him from her..... HA HA, I love media schadenfreude! But that was pretty mild compared to all the things the average MSM-er might say or do, at least (for her sake) she wasn't obviously snorting coke, shooting heroin, having sex, passing bad gas, etc. Doubt she's in too much trouble with anyone except her sister-in-law and maybe said brother.
