Monday, Aug 28 Couric Gets Bush For 1st 'Evening News' Katie Couric has landed an interview with President George W. Bush at the White House for the CBS primetime special "Five Years Later -- How Safe Are We?"
The special will air from 10 to 11pm on Sept. 6. Excerpts from the interview will air on Couric's first evening newscast on Sept. 5 (and on the Early Show the next morning)...
It will be heavily edited to make W look as bad as possible.
He probably figures it's a ONE SHOT chance
at getting a positive exposure on CBS!
Watch out for the day after!

Translation: A hatchet job. By the time Miz Colonic and the Commie Broadcasting Sack-o-Lies is done "editing" the interview, Bush will look like the devil incarnate.

This may be very good. If she gets in the president's face, she will not have a high-ranking official for over two years. I believe she will go easy on him. That will make the leftist whackjob base go crazy. As a Hillary supporter, Katie will be even more loathed. This could end up damaging the witch.

You're right. I haven't watched 60 Minutes in over 15 years but know that's how they operate. I used to belong to Accuracy in Media when Reed Irvine was alive.

The problem is that they don't see it as him being "bigger".
Someone like Katie Couric believes she's objective and that her greatness got her the interview.
