"RealPlayer is especially offensive because it basically hijacks your computer for anything multimedia, and also installs "RealDownload" and "RealJukebox" and other unnecessary crap."

Yeah, RealPlayer is the mother of all bloatware. I avoid it like the plague. As for Adobe reader, you can choose not to install the google toolbar during installation. Adobe has become very annoying to me. Used to, you could install the program quickly with no worries, but in the last two versions they created an installer that takes forever on a slower PC, and they try to slip in 3rd party software on you.

Good to know I'm not the only person who doesn't like Adobe and find it annoying.

I don't like sites or companies who use it.

Just tell me what I want to know and quickly thank you.

Yeah, but the text is small, and the box is conveniently checked so that the majority of morons will end up the toolbar anyway.

Another thing that Adobe does is screw around with Windows registry settings so that every time somebody updates their Reader, the registry settings get changed, which basically affects Outlook in a negative way.

If you ever hear about someone going off on a murderous rampage while screaming something about "load behavior", that would probably be me.
