If only more Americans could appreciate just what so many military families must go through when their loved ones deploy, whether on a ship, foreign base/port, or into combat conditions.
So much is always brought out about the plight of the needy and welfare folks, yet little is ever said about those that serve their country, often with the understanding they will one day perhaps have to do battle with America's enemies.

Thanks for the ping freema.
It's a great piece on the sacrifices of our military families. My wifes childhood was such and she has good memories of the military wives helping each other out.
