FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.
It is the Soldier, not the minister Who has given us freedom of religion. It is the Soldier, not the reporter Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the Soldier, not the poet Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer Who has given us freedom to protest. It is the Soldier, not the lawyer Who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the Soldier, not the politician Who has given us the right to vote. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag.
- Charles Michael Province, U.S. Army Thank you to all the heroes out there in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard who ensure that the freedoms we enjoy today will continue to future generations. You are not forgotten.

;)I took a nap watching TV tonight..No "visitors".
I have weed whacked the ivy out back, trimmed the Nandina hedge along the front walk way and other hot jobs this weekend and had wonderful surprise visitors, my late husband's brother, his wife and daughter came Saturday.
That front bed also got watered for the first time since it rained July 4th..I hope I didn't shock it!

fatima...((HUGS)) good to see you. When last he posted he was in Kuwait for "a couple weeks". They were washing/cleaning trucks. He's started, but not here yet. How are you for the storms coming? Are you in a safe place? How about your house at the shore? I hear whatshisname, the hurricane, is bringing lots of rain up the coast.

Aloha Night Owl!
i>not a drop of rain today. And sun off and on.
Please don't turn off and on the sun......
Called back east today; to Michigan to check on what I might need to be prepared for the fall weather. Jacket, sweaters or sweatshirt, stuff like that. Then called back to NY and after having listened to the moaning about the heat wave two weeks ago, had to listen to moaning about the cold, damp weather there now. Geez Louise.......my brother in NY ain't camping out.

Well right now we miss the shore place much.It is a runaway hideout and so peaceful. It is rented until after labor day..It's funny how everything strips away when you drive over the bridge to get there. We ended up renting the whole summer to many families and they all had a blast. We stayed home and used the money to pay the bills for the place but September is fine.We had strait line winds 2 days ago and it is raining now(((Hugs))
