Are flank and rump the same thing?

Top round I assume is what I call topside.

I'd not heard the term topside, but found a web page that says that topside and top round are the same thing (so is silverside).  It's the top muscle in the rump roast, with the eye round and the bottom round being the other two.

Are flank and rump the same thing?

Flank steak is from the belly muscles, which is what gives it the long fibers (the things you have to cut across, not with, to get it tender to chew).
