In answer to a direct question on the MTP roundtable as to whether Armitage was his source, Novak refused, saying that he won't name a source until the source outs himself. He also said, however, that it was long past time for his source to come forward.

Excellent post,Russia has been a basket case for a long time and corruption may truly be too ingrained to be overcome.

We have a lot of Russian workers in the Keys, they are for the most part highly sought after since they do really good work. But the stories you hear about the Russian mob in NYC and elsewhere are truly scary.

But IMO it does not excuse their behavior and words at the press conference with no gun to their heads.

I cannot imagine a journalist heaping praise upon the US or Israeli people or leaders, like these guys did.

As a matter of fact, journalists continue to report on our military men in an investigation of battleground tactics as "atrocities", they give the US NO BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.

They continue to report on our President as an idiot,liar, corrupt, mendacious, and stupid warmonger. Not to mention what the media have done to Israel over the years, constant accusations of massacres and such.

I have had it!

The media worldwide are responsible for painting these Islamic Cults as victims, for decades they have roamed the globe murdering innocents with complete impunity.

#195, Landrieu is still upset that her brother lost to School Bus Nagin which means a lot of White Folks voted for SBN because they know what he did or did not do before the Storm as far as corruption in NOLA. They knew he was fighting the LA corruption himself,and lest we forget Landrieu's Brother was the Lt Governor and did diddley squat. Landrieu is not believable,but then neither is George Steponallofus. I thought Bob Shieffer had a good interview with Haley Barbour,Haley always knows how to handle the DBM types. The FEma guy was very credible also and was allowed to get some good points across. He is not really much of a Bureaucrat because of his background,but he knows how to work it like most Fire Chiefs learn to do out of necessity.

As far as suggestions, FR doesn't happen to have an "Ignore" feature, so I've just set up my own list or you can just use my old US Navy fallback: "(Bleep) 'em if they can't take a joke."

It's not quite like that anymore,today the Keys have gone from American aquatic watery playground to just another real estate play. Trailer parks, marinas,anything on the water is routinely bought and sold to the alter of Father condominium. Thank God they can't build condos on the water,...yet.

There were articles posted on the Middle East Live thread this last few weeks, since Steve and Olaf were kidnapped that DID speculate that because they were Fox employees, that they were targeted...

Targeted because of Fox's "pro-Israel" coverage during the Israel/Lebanon war...also, Steve had credentials on him that were his press pass for entry into the House of Representatives and the US. Senate...which probably made the terrorists especially happy.

SO...you are spot on, IMHO, in your hypothesis...now, what Fox had to do to get them released..I don't know...but, I am sure there are already freepers that are critical of whatever Fox did, I am sorry to say.

She said that they were no where close to being as damaged as New Orleans.

Oh, BS!!!!! Mississippi was where the bulk of the storm went thru. Whole communities were wiped out down to the foundations. NOLA was a flood; that's were the damage came in. A flood is bad and ruins one's home, but it is NOT the same thing as having not a stick, nor a blade of grass, and only concrete foundations and sand where you and your neighbors houses and businesses once sat.

No one came by to clean up and rebuild for the Mississippians, they did it themselves. NOLA'ers expect the government to come clean up the rubish from their yards, let alone start rebuilding their homes. The difference was (and IS) night and day.
