Thanks Rodguy,

I'm reading Ann Coulters book now too. She nails the 9-11 Commission for what it was: another Clinton cover up. Ignoring AD is just one more example of Democrats covering for their own and trying to save what they can of a so-called Clinton legacy. And, I also agree with everything you said on AD too.

I recall Nagin complaining that the schoolbusses weren't good enough for his people. He wanted air conditioned busses with bathrooms on board.

In the end the people died. So the choice was, drown in your home or be uncomfortable on a schoolbus.

Reminds me of the whiners abandoning Lebanon when the shooting started.

They could choose, bombs or a ship without all the comforts of home.

I will never understand in a million years.

As if Hamas had nothing to do with their kidnapping?

This is really sick.

Morgan, in case you missed the story. ABC is going to air a five hour series on 9/11. Human Events got to preview the story and recommended it, HIGHLY. It will run for 3 hours on 9/10 and the last two hours on 9/11.

If I'm incorrect on the dates someone can help on that.

Seems that much of the reporting will be taken from the Commission report and is scathing in it's comments on the failures of the X42 regime.

"Seems the fox reporters have converted to Islam"

No, they're just reacting to all those AK-47's that are out of frame.

I'd like to be a mouse in the corner during their debrief; Don't really think they will ever be fans of Islam, Hezzys, or the rest of the MSM after this experience.

You have the dates right, OldFriend, and Howlin has promised a Live Thread for those nights. I'm looking forward to some correct reporting on the clinton administration's responsibility for 9/11.

Graft and corruption have always been a way of life in Louisiana as well, further complicating things.

It seems even before Katrina happened the La. dept of Homeland Security,(not to be confused with the feds,) was under investigation for corruption in a major way.
Seems millions of dollars had been given to La. to prepare for and eventual hurricane disaster. Problem is they had "the freezer disease", much of the cash was uhhhmmm missing!
Not too surprisingly no on seems to know where the freezer cash wound up!!

Check it out here.

THANKS! Yep, I missed that. It will be interesting to see if ABC can tell the story in an unbiased or fair way. I'm sure we'll watch it.

What disgusts me so much about the whole thing is how the media makes Katrina look like a worse disaster nationally than 9-11 was. It might have effected more people's homes, but economically, and logistically, and when looking at the big picture, 9-11 was so much worse for American than Katrina. There was no entity at work with Katrina, no one did it or made it happen, despite Lunar Farrakhan and hos mother ship in orbit and his accusations. Katrina isn't going to resurface from the North Atlantic to hit America again.

The terrorists are out there enmasse trying to hit us repeatedly. Katrina was a fart compared to the repercussions of 9-11 for this country. And Katrina wouldn't have been as bad if Blanco and Mayor School Bus had evacuated 48 hours earlier like Bush recommended, and if the people in the brain dead Democrat voter machine areas could think and act for themselves, and dind't just sit on their butts waiting for the gubmnt to come save them. Poor doesn't mean immobile. I lived in Houston for 21 years, and if that thing had nailed Houston, I'd walk out of I had to, not sit there waiting for any administrations incarnation of FEMA. The people of New Orleans were a big part of the problem when it comes to their being stuck and not getting help. The total failure of their local and state leadership to do anything to get them out early and help them the first couple days, which is how it happens after natural disasters, that's the other big part. Lazy people with their hands out, and ineffective Democrat leadership that's owned Lousiana for 80 years. THAT is what made the disaster so bad in that state.

Squandering millions of doallrs for many years on marinas, bridges, and gambling boats instead of levees and other disaster requirments didn't help.

Hamas facilitated their release. Would you have preferred the men to stay in captivity.

Thank God they're out. And somehow, I don't think they really converted to Islam. They did what they had to to survive. I guess I'd of done the same thing, but I hope I'd have the guts to spit on the Muslim cock roaches and tell them to go do something rude to themselves, and p**s on Mohammed rather than "convert" to Islam to get my freedom. I don't know.

We see it amongst certain groups of people even in my own town. So sad the bottom line is that these people even if they do not realise it have just given up. They rely on others and worst still expect others especially the government to be there for them without them having to put any effort in.

Excellent post fishtalk and great to see you on this not yet stormy Sunday morning.

. In no way was I trying to post blame on GW! He inherited a disaster! He had so many things on his plate it would have been impossible and probably unmanageable to try and correct them all at once.

If anything the problem we have had and still do to some extent, simply points out what a huge mistake it is for the country and freedom lovers to ever let hardcore socialists, dems and basically criminals like the Clintons into public office. It is truly playing with fire.

IF liberals think that Terrorists don't watch American news shows, they're even more disconnected from reality than I thought. And most Americans do not count Iraq as seperate from the war on Terror. The people we're fighting in Iraq are the same people that we're fighting in Afghanistan and world wide. The same people that tried to hijack ten or more planes for Heathrow a couple weeks ago. And the same people that did 9-11. We're fighting mostly foreign terrorists in Iraq. Not Iraqis.

Does Novak not understand that the President isn't the one to put forth border legislation? He gave that speech a few months ago, calling for it. It has to come from the Congress for him to sign. The House came up with a good bill and passed it, liberals and RINOs in the Senate blocked it. Bush can't create legislation. Novak needs to read the Constitution.
