No sugar coating...God looketh on the heart. I believe if we deny God before men and that is what is in our heart, we will be held eternally accountable for it. If we are coersed to do so, then I believe God will judge us according to the intents and true feeling of our heart.

God is looking for us to willing come to Him, not to be forced to mouth words at the point of a gun. Such confessions, such testimonials, such conmversions, are meanigless according to His own word.

We differ Jeff. I risk my neck in what I do fairly regularly. As I study the word I'm learning that the one thing in this battle with Satan we don't want to be telling our enemy is that our faith isn't worth our lives.

Just from a logical perspective, it is the Islamists's belief that we don't stand for anything that gives radical Islam its energy and its conviction in its ultimate triumph. So with this forced "conversion" how many Muzzies will be shown that tape. Given the grinding realities of their lives, what will their conclusions be? How many more in the West will now die because they see how weak we really are?

This war is far more than a fight on a battlefield; it is a spiritual war. If we don't learn that soon, the price of our consequent waffling will be far higher.

Israel itself would not exist without such conviction. It was the Jews of post-war Europe, who in large numbers were willing to die before being repatriated, that convinced the nations of the world to vote for its creation in the UN. After experiencing the holocaust, they knew what the real stakes are in life. Their progeny have clearly forgotten.

veronica talks about hiding behind a screen while the nation of Israel hides behind nukes fearing "world opinion" too much to use even their conventional power. There would be no eretz Isra'el had her forebears betrayed a similar lack of conviction. Were she actually reading Torah, she would know there would have been no Isra'el in the first place were the followers of Moshe similarly convicted.

We keep talking about this war as if it should be a matter of life and death for civilization. Well?
