A Lebanese Christian woman I met in a Newcomers group did teach me what a true guest is treated like in their culture.. For me it was polite to decline offers of whatever she was cooking for her family when I was in her home on Newcomer's business..even though my mouth was watering..
I finally learned to accept and enjoy!! It was smart for Fox to emphasze the "guest" part..If I had not experienced the traditional treatment I am sure I would not undersstand so well the "guest" emphasis..
These men were not treated well..but thank God they are alive.
