Exactly why everyone was using guest, from the prime minister to journalists, to the family members of both captives.
It's no different then most kidnappings. People who speak about the hostages are told when giving press conferences to keep repeating that the captives are loved, are human being, a person who's life is respected, wanted and needed. It's easier to kill someone if you believe them to not be humans or your enemy.
#1: Who offered praise and respect for Mohammed?
#2: Which talking head dismissed Centanni's "praise God" statement as an emotional reaction?
#3: Which talking head said Islam is respected by everyone?
#4: Which talking head mentioned the plight and suffering of the Palestinian people by the Israelis?

Hey, if you have a problem with that, as I suggested in an earlier post, take it up with Roger Ailes. I am not in charge of programming on Fox News. I don't make decisions resulting in "heavy rotation" for maybe an hour or so, and then sudden "stick it on the back burner" for the rest of the morning.
Nor am I your butler, custodian, or clock-winder, so I cannot accept the responsibility of ensuring that you watch the news to see things when they are actually happening. Perhaps you should buy a TIVO? Or, if awake and viewing, try "viewing for comprehension"?

I was awake and following FNC from the first news alert of the release. I heard the phone interview with Shep live and on 2 repeats. I heard no such thing.
Maybe it's a matter of perspective.

Whatever is said in a forced coersion has no meaning to me. It may have meaning in the Islamofascists twisted minds, but not in the rest of the Western world.

A Lebanese Christian woman I met in a Newcomers group did teach me what a true guest is treated like in their culture.. For me it was polite to decline offers of whatever she was cooking for her family when I was in her home on Newcomer's business..even though my mouth was watering..
I finally learned to accept and enjoy!! It was smart for Fox to emphasze the "guest" part..If I had not experienced the traditional treatment I am sure I would not undersstand so well the "guest" emphasis..
These men were not treated well..but thank God they are alive.

If your posts about this matter are referring to the things said on the conversion tape, then why don't you say so.
You've said on this thread the media was compromised. If you think by airing the conversion tape the media was compromised, we'll have to agree to disagree.
