Also - their posts are the kind of things the moonbat blogs will link to as proof of our being wackjobs.

No doubt about it.

After reading over 600 posts here look at how they, the ENEMY who kidnap and brainwash Americans are getting their miserable PROPAGANDA to Americans!

Glad they are released, hate people who think they can get away with humiliating Americans!

On the other hand, if every early Christian who's life was in danger for their beliefs (which was all until the roman empire accepted Christianity) had gone to their deaths instead of staying hidden, praying in private, not outwardly expressing their belief etc - we wouldn't be here today praising Jesus.

I agree with your thought process, but it's not realistic.

Olaf gave that "poor-Palis-that-need-their-story-out" rant AFTER he was released. There's NO way on earth that what he's spouting now will deter future kidnappings or other terrorist acts.

Confucious say "Once released, to thine own self be true, bubby."

Yep, and in this case, rightfully so. (I just think we have less wackjobs then they have of moonbats)

I am not in charge of programming on Fox News.

--- what a surprise.

Nor am I your butler

--- from the sound of your posts you might make a good one. Shall I call you "Joeseph Whinealot"?

Find the medication, old soul. Those joints are aching.

Well, I did not say that. I trust in the justice and mercy of God - Jesus Christ!

More details - the tape shows them in Islamic style clothing, reading verses from the Koran in Arabic, and denouncing the west.

Oh, that would explain the cheering crowd I hear in Manhattan this morning.

So, now they are fit to work at CNN and Reuters.

"Everyone breaks, it's just a matter of time."

Ever read "Foxx's Book of Martyrs"? Everyone doesn't break.

What these men think in their heart, and how they live their daily lives accordingly matters, it matters a lot...and that is clearly for God to judge.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. - Matt. 5:8

For the Lord seeth not as man seeth, for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. - 1 Sam 16:7

Every way of man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord pondereth the heart. - Proverbs 21:2

He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit. - Romans 8:27

For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart - Hebrews 4:12

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptable, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. - 1 Peter 3:4

Who are you to determine if this thread can only be about "celebrating the release of these two?"

ARMSF is dead on.

I work with a guy whose native country is Syria. He uses the word "God" in conversations with me in English, not "allah." But "Allah" is what he means.

Yeah. Thanks for reminding me of that. Some people's thinking on this thread would send all those guys drawing fish in the sand straight to hell.

My wife and I were talking this morning about this very subject. What would either one of us do in a situation like this? We think we know what we'd do, but it's always easier said then done. Then I asked my wife, suppose one of our sons was in this situation, what would we want him to do? Funny how we both became silent. Well, it's not really funny at all.

As far as Islamic doctrine is concerned, even mouthing the words without conviction is a conversion, to which one can be held accountable. If these two say anything deemed outside the bounds of Sharia in the future, you can be there will be a fatwa on their lives.

I've seen it before on many threads and there's an ugliness there that will not be tolerated any longer.

By who?

Are you JimRob?

When discussing terrorism, if a reporter just says Mohammed we don't know if he's talking about Mohammed Atta or someone else so it makes sense to distinguish just WHICH Mohammed is being discussed.

Likewise, when discussing Christianity, they should use the term, "The Savior Jesus", so that people know who they're talking about. (Hey, it only makes sense to distinguish him from "Jesus" the guy at the car wash, or "Jesus" the "Undocumented American" (golly, must be thousands of "Jesus guys" who fit that profile!)

Yeah, I agree -- they should refer to "The Prophet Mohammed", and "The Savior Jesus".

So, when do they start?

(My money's on "never")
