CARACAS, Venezuela Venezuela's President says he made a second visit to Cuban leader Fidel Castro earlier this week.
President Hugo Chavez describes his ailing ally as "recuperating" and says they spoke for a couple of hours.

Whether he is recuperating or not, he won't live forever. Time waits for no man. Castro will die, as will we all, sooner or later. There will be a "Post Castro Era" regardless of what Chavez or Dan Rather hope.
Hopefully, the people of Cuba will soon be able to throw off the shackles of communism.

That's exactly why Chavez is there. Watch for Venezuela to have a visible presence in Cuba, post Castro's death.
Fidel is in bad shape, Raul is an old drunk, and Chavez is putting Cuba's star on his flag.

Only idle speculation right now, but we know more than the Cubans do. Two weeks ago, when Chavez was there then, it took four days for the Cuban people to know it.

I was reading an article the other day about the Iranian doofus minibad and Chavez and bringing communism to the ME.
I have a hard time picturing the muslim clerics embracing communism. Oh and they want to do away with the US of course! :)
