The Megadeth star is so upset with the UN he's named their new album 'United Abominations.'
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is so furious with the United Nations (UN), he has named the metal group's forthcoming album 'United Abominations.'
The rocker has joined critics of the UN, who claim the organization has been too slow to respond to the humanitarian crises in countries, such as Sudan and Rwanda.
Mustaine fumes, "I was watching TV and saw the trucks that said UN on them and said, 'Man, you are so uncool, ineffective, anything.'
"I thought, 'Wow, I've got to run with this. I got it - 'United Abominations,' because it's an abomination what they're doing.'"
Or in this case of zero talent, just shut up.
(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo! )
"Hello me; it's me again!"
Rought row Shaggy, cool kids are getting it.
The UN is france on marshmellows.
What are the socialists going to do when cool kids think for themselves?
In order to be upset with the United Nations, you need to have expectations. Anybody who expects anything productive from the sick scumbags at the laughingstock United Nations hasn't been paying attention for the past 40 years.
Huh?
Nothing against Hammett or Hetfield, but the opening riff on Metallica's "Four Horsemen" is serious head-banging stuff. It was also his song, but Metallica changed the lyrics after he left the band.
Or something like that. It's been far too many years. You know, maybe I'll head to iTunes...
You're right. It was originally called "Mechanix" and it appears on Megadeth's first album.
Maybe we can get some bands together for the "Infidels unleashed in 07" tour.

Amazing how old lyrics suddenly come back from dead brain cells:
"Whoever thought you'd do better - at turning a screw than me?"
I like both versions. IMHO, Hetfield has the better singing voice, but they all have/had great chops. This thread has taken me back nearly to high school.
"I thought, 'Wow, I've got to run with this. I got it - 'United Abominations,' because it's an abomination what they're doing.'"
While it's great he sees how irrelevant the U.N. is, I had a hard time reading this and not hearing it in a Keanu Reeves-style voice.

In short - let's not trample the good guys who dare to speak up just because they're not immediately acceptable.
zero talent? This guy is one hell of a guitar player.
You would have to hear it in his own voice. He's actually a pretty highly educated guy.
You take a mortal man,
And put him in control
Watch him become a god
Watch peoples heads a'roll
A'roll...
