I had never heard of this, but it is an intruiging topic. I assume this would have been in the 1969 conflict?

In addition to an increase in background radiation, wouldn't satellite photos also show some sudden blank spots? Of course, this may be US classified info. Are there commercial satellite photos that one could access?
