Just remember Mohammed, who rescued Jessica Lynch. He was a Muslim, and he risked his life to save her. He lost an eye doing it too. He's not radical, but he is a hero. "Muslim" does no equal "radical terrorist" even though many Muslims are radicals. I'm not defending Islam, which is evil, but many Muslims are fine people. They don't all follow the Koran to the letter. Look at the Turkish women who wear bikinis, in violation of the Koran. Strange that I should even feel it necessary to point all this out.

So your defense of Islam is that the people that don't take it seriously are ok? Read the Koran it is a hate filled book and if you proclaim yourself Muslim and don't follow it some of your coreligionist are apt to kill you. What other belief system demands death for lack of enthusiasm?

Then you be friends with them. I want no part of that murdering cult...except to see them utterly destroyed.

Well said, adam_smith_76. I highly doubt that anyone of the "hate 'em all" crowd will even take the time to read the links I had posted, or listen to reason. But at least we can always be comforted by the fact that we tried to get through what my father would have called, "their thick numb-skulls". LOL

I'm not defending Islam, which is evil, but many Muslims are fine people.
Hence the real problem.
"Target identification", and sorting out the innocents, the
passive supporters and the real terrorists themselves.
When I see a group of Turkish businessmen (in the Anatolian region)
having a business luncheon with a blessing from a local cleric
(all in attendance in Western attire)...you do see the Islamic "world"
isn't monolithic.
(This was on a PBS show titled "Turkish Tigers", after the "Asian Tigers" of
Singapore, etc.)
But not being on guard with a "verify before you trust" seems a
sure path to being the loser in the WOT.
I'd be happier if Islam had never been...but it's here and we've got
to deal with it. And use discretion.
