OLATHE, Kan. -- Federal, state and local agents raided a Johnson County house Friday as part of an alleged illegal immigration bust, KMBC's Jim Flink reported.
Kathleen Ramon runs El Mercado, a business that helps Latino immigrants transition into the community.
Johnson County District Attorney Paul Morrison said Ramon was charging illegal immigrants to get driver's licenses for them....
partial, more at source link
Morrison is one of multiple Republicans that switched to the Democrat party this year in an effort to get elected. His biggest handicap is that he is not known, especially outside of Johnson County.
Other news reports said the scheme had been running for years, and predicted the total number of illegals given 'legal' driver's licenses could be in the thousands. Morrison said in one report that they would be pursuing the illegals that were given licenses, but I don't know that I'm holding my breath on that one.
I think this should be considered treason

I'll be shocked if this scum serves even one day in prison.
LOL! She's only doing what a lot of "states" already do.
If they can deal with this woman to get the state employee involved, they should do so.
My hope is that the evidence they seized will point to the inside person, and they don't have to offer a deal.
Those involved deserve maximum punishment. I'm not a lawyer, but I would hope they could file a charge for each instance of procuring a license through fraud, that way the sum effect would be life behind bars.
As a youngster (early 1990s) I worked for a real estate business that rented houses in Kansas City, Kansas. Real slumlord type of place. We would have people come in all the time with SSN's or Federal ID #s that we would run a credit check against. Lots of times they would come back with no information, but the report told us the date of issue for the number. You'd see a date of issue from the 1950s, and the person that gave you the number would be maybe 25.
Can we reinstitute firing squads?
I was surprised that she lived in Prairie Village.
Nothing new goes on all over the country.
