Wow ~ what an appropriate tune to Eulogize Maynard " The Boss"Ferguson with and he's with playing with Stan "The Old Man" Kenton: two giants ~ thank God their music didn't die with them!


Thank you Drumbo for doing this, it brought back lots of memories and tears; the first time I heard Maynard was in '51 on the Kenton Presents album. It was a 12" LP, wish I still had that vinyl, my first wife absconded with it when we parted, she was as big a Jazz fan as I. >:-}
