Hello there Kathy in Alaska. Thank you so very much and glad to be of service.

I am a former professional DJ (played mostly in the European milieu if you will, which is a tad different than the stuff played in the States).

I enjoy the Music Canteen tremendously, and I am looking forward every Friday to be part of it at least with suggestions. (whatever pops in my head that I remember been a good song)

I wish I had my Radio music collection...

Anyhow, it is good to see you, MoJo, laurenmarlow and the others doing a superb job. Keep it up, you guys ROCK!

Thanks...it is a labor of love for our troops. Keep up the suggestions. They provide a wide range for our troops to listen to and enjoy. For me, who only listened to country forever, I'm hearing things I enjoy, but probably would never have listened to.

We try our best to find the suggested songs...some are really good "finders". And sometimes it takes weeks, but all the DJs keep after requests. I'm slow, but keep looking.
