AURORA - Hundreds of Mexican immigrants lined the sidewalk at Bardwell Elementary School Thursday, awaiting a chance to get identification cards from their native country.
The school's gymnasium is playing host to the mobile operation of the Mexican Consulate in Chicago, which will be available to assist Mexican citizens there through Saturday.
The vast majority of people waiting in line were seeking to get a matricula consular, a photo ID card designed by the Mexican government primarily for its millions of citizens living in the United States without American documentation.
American immigration hawks criticize the matricula cards for making it easier for illegal immigrants to continue living in the United States...
...Banks are keen on selling their services to the estimated 5 million undocumented immigrants in America.
"You're missing the boat if you're not serving that population," said Sandy Lorenz, a regional manager for Fifth Third Bank...

* What is a foreign country doing passing out their IDs to illegal aliens in a United States school (link)? Who authorized their use of public facilities? Was it Thomas Hartman, the principal (email: thartman.bardwell *at* d131.org)? Or, was it a higher-up? Should public facilities be used by a foreign country that wants to pass out ID cards to its citizens who are here illegally? What kind of "lesson" does that teach to the students at the school?
* Should Garbe have refered to those who want to enforce our immigration laws as "hawks"? What term would we use for those who support a foreign country's agenda?
Please write the reporter and his editor and see if we can help them understand what they should have done:

They are a bit off. By about 25 million.
So the cops know that there will be a large # of illegal aliens in one spot. Will they arrest them?

And there, friends, is one reason why nothing will ever be done about illegal immigration.
Now they all have the name "Jose Gonzales"...
Oops. USA.
But I'll have a go.........Invaded States of America
HAhahahahaha! During the riots ICE couldn't find a single illegal.

Would I be wrong in questioning her Patriotism?
Excellent post!
Bank of America often has 70% or more of it's customers in line for tellers with that "illegals" look and attitude.
Now about 50% of Bank of America tellers fit that profile - as does their command of the English lanquage.
Banking at Bank of America is a vote for the democrats and open borders and more crime and ripoofs by illegals that ignore laws and income taxes while picking your pockets.
Make you wonder which politicians and ICE officials Bank of America is bribing - one way or the other?
You are always well informed devolve.
One of these days, Americans in this country are gonna end up in a knockdown dragout with aliens of one sort or another (illegal Mexicans or Muslims- just hope it isn't both at the same time). All I can say is for those civilians in those states that actively work to keep its citizens from owning and keeping firearms, it is realllllllllly gonna suck 'mucho grande.' It may not be you (America collectively), but it will be your children left with the aftermath of this....
Good one, potlatch!
I read something yesterday that was reported in an article on Aug. 2. It was about an illegal alien named, Alex Vega. Vega had been interviewed on CBS's Sunday Morning show. He told them that the illegals will run the US in 20 years. Vega said, "In 20 years, we are going to run the country. Right now we're running the cities. So little by little, we're running the show. Little by little. So this sleeping giant (illegal population) is already awakened."
Thanks Chena. Living less than two hours from the border - I can see it happening.
