Me neither. Free Republic was the ONLY information source I had other than local radio until we were sent home about 2 pm, and finally then I could see TV coverage. All the other news websites were too jammed up to function, but FR still worked (albeit very slowly).

The first I knew anything was happening was when a co-worker mentioned something about a plane hitting the WTC. When I couldn't get to any news sites, I hit FR, despite the fact that my workplace had recently blocked FR for some reason. On 9/11, fortunately, the block wasn't working (or they took it down) and I could read the threads as the entire day unfolded.

We need to see this coverage. It will, God willing, give us the strength to do what needs to be done against our enemies, foreign AND domestic.

We went to an attorney's office with a TV after the first plane hit. He had just turned his back to the set to tell us we'd have to leave so he could work on a brief when the second plane flew in.

Does anyone have a pointer to any of the 9/11 FR threads?

- Thanks
