Neal Boortz threatens legal action against left wing extremist Randi Rhodes.

Nationally syndicated radio host Neal Boortz stated on his show today that Randi Rhodes might find herself in court if she continues to tell lies on the air during her radio program.

Since the two appeared on the Larry King Live show a few weeks ago, Rhodes has been obsessed with Boortz after he made her look foolish on national television. At one point Rhodes claimed Boortz made a statement about Muslims that Boortz said he never made. Boortz then issued a challenge to Rhodes with a $5,000 bet. Rhodes accepted the challenge and then told Larry King and the viewers they could find proof of her claims by simply going to the "Media Matters" web site. Later Media Matters issued a statement that it had no documentation to back up the claims made by Ms. Rhodes. For those who are familiar with Rhodes, this was not a suprise. It's extremely rare for statements she makes to be accompanied by with any supporting evidence or proof. In her world, emotion trumps fact.

According to Boortz, he and his family have received death threats due to lies told by Rhodes on her failing radio show (Air America has to pay stations to carry her program). According to Boortz, Rhodes has been making statements she says Boortz has made regarding Muslims.

Transcripts from the Boortz show reveal that Rhodes claims were incorrect. Boortz is still waiting to recieve his check from her.

I was channel flipping yesterday and caught part of her radio program. Randi was saying that the Republicans are a party of religious fanatics who are obsessed with death, (meaning not fearing deaths sting), they will force their religion on others and will not tolerate other religions or beliefs,and they are obsessed with hurrying Christ returned. And then she said there is no difference between our Republican religious fanatic racist neo-cons and those we are fighting in the war on terror.

If Soros IS bankrolling this station....then they are keeping Randi there for a reason...and I suggest that the reason is, she has bought into every "talking point" against President Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Condi..et al.

She makes absolutely NO SENSE on her show...talking about the different conspiracies...like Bush planning 9/11...and she gets the wackos to call her show.

I bet Soros is doing this until after the 2008 elections...just to give an outlet for the dems to get radio time..

I have heard Harry Reid, Pelosi, Durbin, Dorgan...a bunch fo them go on that station for interviews..

Boortz is the reason I am now politically active. I took to listening to his show locally in the mid 90's. He stated one morning that he believed a majority of Americans didn't know their own elected representatives. Embarrassingly, I couldn't name my Congressman or Senators. I actually went home that night and researched it. I found out that Newt Gingrich was my Congressman. I wrote him a letter that same night. The first of many letters to politicans.

Jerry Springer's show, carried on 30 stations nationwide, isn't produced by AA but they consider it theirs and count any station as an AA affiliate that only caries only his show. When Springer hit the airwaves it allowed AA to add about two dozen stations to their overly important affiliate total at one time.

Now for the funny part. Most libs hate his show and wish it was gone. They're jumping up and down for joy at bad news for Springer's show, not realizing that their golden quantity over quality affiliate count would take a severe hit to the tune of around a 20 station drop in one day.
