Glueck & Robert J. Cihak, in Jewish World Review, citing the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons among others, would show you the truth.

Ahhh... Sorry, I was on a different but related thread yesterday and I assumed that was why.

I did some more research on the "cosmetics connection" and it does sound like an urban legend, sadly, it appears to be true.
