Howard Dean's Comments on George Allen
Hotline Blog ^

Posted on 08/24/2006 6:32:35 PM PDT by SDGOP

Asked if he's satisfied with George Allen's apology: "I served with George Allen when he was governor. I don't think he belongs in public service, to be honest with you. There are Republicans who are capable and smart, thoughtful people, and he's not one of them" (MSNBC, 8/23).

I find that amusing that howard dean claims there are republicans who are capable and smart, last time i checked republicans are responsible for everything wrong in the world.

I suspect comments like these from Nikita will only help Allen

If Howard Dean says this about George Allen, then Senator Allen is my kinda guy!

I'm not kidding you, just seeing the title to your ping made me laugh out loud. Then arriving here didn't disappoint me at all. Dean's an absolute treasure to the GOP! :-D

Sure Allen may have 'dean screamed' himself with his careless actions, but Dean isn't one to put anyone down for once doing something half as stupid as he is all the time.

George Allen should respond that a pinhead like Howard Dean shouldn't be in politics.

With Dean, Reid, Pelosi, and the rest of the Dem leaders, I've never seen such a base level of rhetoric.

And it goes unresponded to by the GOP leaders.

This is over one stupid word. This is the Abu Ghraib of the 2006 election cycle. Unbelievable.

Howard Dean won't ever get elected to anything again. Keep him where he is and let him be a good Dem roll model.

FIrst off allen didn't dean scream himself, the media made a mountain out of a mole hill like they always do.

Second, what everyone forgets about howard dean is that the scream didn't kill him, what caused him to sink was bill clinton releasing a letter from howard dean (while he was far ahead of everyone else) that showed howard dean supported his unilateral action. At this point howard dean had run around saying unilaterial action was illegal/etc. Releasing this letter is what caused howard dean to sink and loose momentum.

Get ready for "President Allen is Stupid" for eight years from out of the yammering pieholes of the libs, if he wins. JUST as they do to President Bush. This is a good sign of course. Conservatives here on FR should close ranks, even if they have another favorite for President, to get Allen back into the Senate, and stop their bashing him over his apologies. This is what the liberals do not want, conservative unity. It is now time.

Every time that man opens his mouth, toads and snakes come out. My apologies to any real toads and snakes that may be offended by my comment.

Let's see. Vermont-- a once great state which produced the likes of Ethan Allen and Calvin Coolidge. Now a crappy little backwater for hippies, yuppies and greenie weenies. How many new jobs has it created in the last 10 years?

Virginia-- a still great state which is aborbing much of the job growth being driven out by the tax and spend policies of just about every state north of the Potamac and east of Ohio.

Coincidence?
