Whatever happened to the "three strikes" law? Why was this lowlife out walking the streets? Has he always been allowed to plead his felonies down to misdemeanors?
Two words: Capital punishment.
I feel sorry for the victim, but man did she make some mistakes:
"Moore and some friends spent a night partying in Manhattan, where they drank at a nightclub until 2 a.m. She and another 18-year-old woman left, only to discover that the woman's red Dodge sedan had been towed. They located the car at a towing impound about 10 blocks away.
"Police said the lot attendants refused to turn over the car to Moore's companion because she appeared to be drunk. She then passed out, and an ambulance was called.
"Amid the commotion, the 5-foot-2, 105-pound Moore, who was wearing a black halter top and a white miniskirt, wandered off along the West Side Highway.
"Shortly before 5 a.m., Moore called her boyfriend and said someone was following her. He told her to call a taxi, and there was no answer when he tried to call back a short time later.
"Police believe Coleman lured or forced Moore into a yellow cab and took her to Weehawken."
She was drunk, drinking at public establishments, even though she was three years too young to legally drunk. Her companion was so drunk that she passed out and was hauled off in an ambulance. Their car had been towed. Rather than simply calling a cab, she started to wander off on a highway.
Too sad. All of that could have so easily been avoided. I hope the murderer never sees the light of day. I hope his cold blooded gal pal also never sees the light of day.

Its time to say that the girl didn't deserve to die but ,she made some bad mistakes....You plan on getting drunk have someone who can take you home...Its like Natalee Holloway who disappeared in Aruba..Her friends all made it home o.k. I mean some young people make STUPID!!!!mistakes and it costs them their lives...Thats the story right there.She made mistakes that cost her,her life....She won't be the first and sadly,she won't be the last!!!!!!
