They've already stuck their necks out, saying they'll take the house and possibly the Senate. While I don't believe either will take place, this will be a MAJOR repudiation of Leftist ideals when they once again come up short. If they can't make any headway in this media-generated, Dem-friendly, Republican-bashing environment, they never will.

There are a lot of things that tell you about how voters feel. The most telling thing to me is the numbers on the the Iraq war. To the question is Iraq part of the global war on terror 53 percent say it is.. 42 percent say it isn't.

There are all sorts of conflicting answers. For example they ask would the US be better off with a Democrat in the White House the answer is YES. If they ask would the US be better off with John Kerry in the White House the answer is NO.

The point they keep trying to make is that the war on terror and the Iraq war are not related.

The fact that people think the Iraq war is not going well does not translate into Democratic votes.

This looks good for Republicans. We will hang on the senate and the house.
