Arclight raid on the Bekaa Valley? It's either that or wait for the French to take care of the job.

The UN will really show you if you don't obey.

The US warned, not the UN. I would like to see something here.

I don't think our warnings are taken very seriously anymore.

Yeah and Ass-ad now has a mutual defense pact with Iran....so now we are too chicken to attack the terrorist camps or ammo dumps.
Grim, just grim, the US AND Israel have lost their deterance. This is what we get for Vietnaming Iraq.

U.S. Warns Syria to Observe Arms Embargo
Reminds me of this:
Kim Jong Il:
Hans, Hans, Hans! We've been frew this a dozen times. I don't have any weapons of mass destwuction, OK Hans?
Hans Blix:
Then let me look around, so I can ease the UN's collective mind. I'm sorry, but the UN must be firm with you. Let me in, or else.
Kim Jong Il:
Or else what?
Hans Blix:
Or else we will be very angry with you... and we will write you a letter, telling you how angry we are.

Syria knows what the whole world knows. The U. S. can be safely ignored.
But the Syrian leaders are not too bright. If they were they would start a war with the U.S., lose and then sit back and watch while Uncle Sucker rebuilds Syria better than it ever was,
BTW Where is it written that American taxpayers must rebuild every war-torn country?
Anyone?

And if they don't...will sic Bolton on them. BFD.

Good evening.
Methinks that boy Assad has three problems.
First is the blood alliance with Persia and Ahmedinanutjob. Second is our presidential election is over 2 years away. And third just could be a rabid Israel, seeing it's possible destruction.
With the Hezzies (and terrorists in Iraq) controlled and supplied by Syria and Iran, the Israelis convinced Iran has a deliverable nuke, and W. term limited, the excrement could hit the oscillator very soon...and in a big way (alert the Ohio class SSBNs).
OK, it could be done conventionally too...
