I post this only to demonstrate how quickly the worm turns -- t his report gives Seper and the Washington Times a lot of credit for building up the idea of the Minutemen and MCDC -- so contrast that with the way certain people have turned on that same writer and paper once he wrote a few stories that raised questions about their practices and claims.
I think this adds some fuel to the fire.
The word "illegal" appears nowhere in this propoganda.
It is from the Southern Propoganda Lie Center.
Morris Dees is as Pro-American as Bin Laden and Ah-mamma-nutjob of iran .
"The ACLU report shows how newspaper reporting that was either lazy or deliberately misleading helped transform a relatively small band of extremists into the armed vanguard of the anti-immigration movement."
How it should read:
The ACLU report shows how newspaper reporting -- that was either lazy or deliberately misleading -- helped transform a relatively small band of PATRIOTS into the armed vanguard of the anti-ILLEGAL-Immigration movement."
That the few qualified are more than enough to control our border(s) ??
Wow, posting SPLC articles. Your pro border-jumper proclivity must be intense.
Why not? They've been mining them for talking points and reposting them to FR for years.
At least they're out of the closet now.
Now, there are the real vigilantes!
Armed to the teeth with loaded writs; and firing off full-auto subpoenas, and indiscriminately tossing armed injunctions at anything that moves!
The investigations that should be on the front pages nationwide:
Morris Dees:

Southern Poverty Law Center:

I remember a few years back when some SPLC bigwigs left the group and said that Dees was little more than a profiteer and a fraud.
When the minutemen started their patrols last year, after only a few days two "klansmen" showed up at an SPLC office claiming to have been working with the minutemen. That's Dees style.
go back and read why i posed the article please. then, feel free to make all the comments you want.
bttt
You know people can complain about the Souther Poverty Law center all they want. I filter what they say. However I will say this. If we conservatives would do a better job of making sure these extremist and hate groups didnt try to use us conservatives to legitimate themselves there really wouldnt be a need for them However sadly I dont see that. I mean Malkin has a link to Vdare on here site everyone does a big ywan. The Council of Conservative Citizens organizes anti immigration rallies in South Carolina and no one cares. Prominent people that are conservatives or promoted as such appear on that horrid political cesspool show and everyone ignores it.
So until we on the right have a conservative version of the SPLC to call out and expose the people who want to use us, then we will have to live with the SPLC
True....all too true.
Your full of it. You do not see demon cats being defensive about the left-wing nuts in their party - and they have many more wing nuts than us on the right. There are no redeeming values of the SPLC.
You sound like a damn rhino to me.
we 'have' to live with them? Gimme a break - you & they share the same toothbrush.
So now you've been reduced to posting an article from the freakin' Southern Poverty Law Center citing a study by the ACLU. And you wonder why freepers think you're a leftist.
