I can't even see a house. It looks like the entrance to the bat cave or the addams family house.
That pic shows nothing but a closely cropped area around the gate. You can see nothing of what is to either side. It "clears up" nothing.
My experience says that the sound of a round being ratcheted into the chamber instantly restores order...
OK, I understand your point - I just don't believe in shooting someone in response to a prank, that's all, and there is a difference between the poop-in-a-bag stunt and a home invasion. Would I shoot someone who broke into my house - absolutely! Would I shoot someone for leaving dog poop on my porch - no. (but I wouldn't hesitate to beat their asses if I caught them!)
DITTO to your post #5.
According to certain people, that's what they do in Texas! It's perfectly legal. In fact, they wish it would happen more!
Mother needs her sleep
Natural selection is alive and well. Too bad respect for boundries and private property are what's endangered. That said, I do hope the idiot will be alright and the shooter walks without doing time.
Mother also needs a larger bowl...
You girls leave me alone! (From Una's Myspace)
Fellow you are as despicable as it gets. Shooting high school girls in car is justified, then you make up BS like they're lying. Was it you or someone else who implied they were drinking?.
There's an honor student cheerleader lying in a hospital bed who may be a vegetable for life and you appear to like the idea she got shot.
A couple of facts for you:
1) Worthington is a toney suburb of Columbus, almost no serious crime, can't remember the last homicide.
2) This bonehead fired out of a window and hit a car on the street.
3) He didn't call the police because he's always in trouble with the Police. Big surprise here.
4) How do I know these things. I live here, the victim has been in my house.
God its just amazing the nuts who post here. I'm sure you're being quoted at DU as an example of how Freepers think.
Thank you!

Henry V of England.
Social Darwinism in action - stupidity is *supposed* to be fatal, or at least painful. :)
That wasn't quite me. I SPECULATED that alcohol might have been involved.
May I ask if the guy is 'always in trouble with the Police' because of too many 911 calls when teenagers go 'ghosting' at his house?
You're there, you know some of the people involved, you can probably give us a much more accurate take than a 'professional' newsie ever could or would.
"They dare each other to walk into the property," Francis said, saying this week was the first police had heard of the practice because the Davises had never filed a complaint.
Two of the girls stayed in the car while the other three started up the concrete walk to the Davis home. They didnt get far before turning around.
"One of the girls honked the horn to scare them," Francis said.
After they all were back in the car, the girls heard what they thought were firecrackers, but was gunfire instead. They made the mistake of circling the block, Francis said.
Davis said he fired again as they returned.
"To the best of my knowledge, that did the trick," he said. His mother, he said, was asleep upstairs, and he didnt learn hed hit someone until police arrived later.
"Theyre good kids. They didnt ring the doorbell or knock on the window. They had just taken a few steps on the property when they ran back to the car."
Sounds like all they did involving the property was to take a few steps on the walkway.
As a texan it is a little embarassing to listen to Spktyr's fearful, defense of this nut case.
If nothing else there is no defense for shooting wild horizontal shots out into the community with no specific target in mind.
Alternately, one of the earlier thuggery attempts listed in the story might have cut the line.
Oh, come on. Davis admits that he "never called the police" about previous incidents. Not "they cut the lines," not "I don't have a phone."
The article also says, "Davis, who said he is a self-employed writer, said he and his mother had put up with mischief for months. Teens would bang on their windows and doors, shout and cause a ruckus, he said." Nothing there about cutting phone lines.
You best pray not.
