WHAM News has learned parents and students in Batavia will soon be told about a high school teacher who plans to change his gender. WHAM News has obtained a copy of a letter sent home to parents of Batavia High School students, in which the superintendent invites the parents to an informational meeting this coming Monday night. The letter says officials will present information concerning what is being called the "gender transition" of one of the high school teachers. Mike Lullo is the parent of two boys at the high school. He says he has mixed emotions about the whole thing. He says, "not that it's going to interfere with the person's ability to deliver the subject matter, but it certainly will affect their ability to transfer the information, especially if the kids are distracted." Lullo says it's his understanding this case involves a male science teacher who plans on beginning the transition to become a woman. The Batavia school board president will only say that as far as he knows, this situation would be treated like anyone else on the staff who has a medical condition. Besides Monday's meeting, there will also be meetings with all of the high school students in Batavia on the first day of school to help them understand the issue.
I know I would personally verbally abuse him becuase today he's Mr. X and tomorrow Ms. X. As a parent I would not allow my child into that school as long as the freak was there.
Ern, is there something you would like to tell us? ;-D
I'm sure the parents are expected to be "sensitive" to this crap, and all the kids are expected to pretend it is normal. Of course, some (probably large) percentage of them will no doubt BELIEVE it is normal since everyone is pretending it is. These are the people who will grow up to be "tolerant," as the public schools want them to be, even though what they are tolerating is insane and evil.
Wow. Sex change in small town. He'll be looked at as a freak.
There is no such thing as a sex change. But I'm an opened minded person so if this guy gets pregnant I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong.
Or this...
That's damned funny !!!
Remember Carlo, the pregnant guy in the Phillipines? LOL
Let me guess...the kids will be expelled if they make fun of Him-her.
Sorry, but if you're that confused you can't be trusted to teach young people anything.
"Yes, Johnny, Mr. X is going to chop his peepee off. It's perfectly normal."
I'm sure DICE would have the answer.
I had to get the rest of my staff together and let them know that "John" (not his real name) was now to be called "Joan" and that (s)he would be dressing in women's clothing and using the women's restroom. No snide comments were permissible.
I spent some time talking to him and told him I would do what was required but that he could neither expect me to understand nor support his decision. I continued to treat him/her as I did any of my staff.
I know NOTHING!!!
Grew up in Ra Cha Cha and spent a couple years in Batavia as an AF Recruiter.
This will have half the town up in arms, th eother half will be thrille dthat they can be like the freaks in Rochester and Barfallo
I've been to Batavia many times myself. This will sure stir things up big-time. It's a fairly conservative town.
It is overall pretty conservative-but they have a good share of liberals that have moved from Rochester and Barfallo. They'll be thrilled.
