Plenty of men drivers in my city, holding phones to their ears, totally oblivious to traffic. So, there you have it for men's driving "superior" skills. A guy totalled the neighbor's brick mail box not long ago, he said it's the third time and each instance was a man. Etceteras.

Agreed that me tend to have more spectacular crashes. Women drivers just don't pay attention.

I think men on average are more skilled drivers. We can better handle a car in complex maneuvers and at speed. We (especially young men) also though tend to be much less cautious drivers than women. I think that tends to tip things in the favor of the average woman being a safer driver.
