BTW some of the worst church politics I have ever seen were generated by those "sweet" old ladies. Her being old and a woman does not make her right or innocent.

They should have avoided the whole issue by promoting her to a different position. Perhaps they tried and it didn't work. We only know part of the story.

Actually I completely agree. A matter of order. I have no problem with that.

Actually, pastor is a relatively new position (post new testament church). If you read pastor in a new translation of the Bible, its not accurate.

Second. If you have a interlinear Bible and look up the verse. You'll find that the verse pretty much means EXACTLY what it says.
