My wife is my helper and as she fulfills her role which benefits my family without measure, is allows God to guide me clearer in our direction as a family.

Well, when I hear partner....I hear modern version of a relationship, sorry. I have a business partner, which can be severed at any time he or I choose. I don't have a relationship partner. I have a wife that God has blessed me with and in death only shall we part. Satan has tried to break it up, but forgiveness and faith always wins.

This quote, one that was posted to me by DungeonMaster (hence the courtesy ping) seems to contradict your statement above. There are, apparently, in scripture, times when a woman is expected to be silent.
