"We should have a system where we can correct spelling errors and dumb mistakes like I just made after it is posted."Amen, brother, and I'd be a power-user in that system!

The Clintons wouldn't bankroll their own groceries, let along this book. They don't need to get behind any of these projects, their acolytes are willing to do it on their own.

How can any leader prepare a city or state or nation for any and every imaginable catastrophe? It just can't be done in the real world where real problems need to be addressed on a daily basis.
Does the present mayor of New York have a disaster plan for a meteorite crashing into the Atlantic and causing a 100-foot tsunami?

We should have a system where we can correct spelling errors and dumb mistakes like I just made after it is posted. We do. It's called the "Preview" button.

The word "hero" is vastly abused. Hey, I've never abused the word.

The left must be really worried about him becoming the GOP nominee. He would beat the heck out of Hillary!!
Typical personal attack from the left. The left is really getting tiresome.

Your post is the best of the century. I agree with you 100 percent. I wish we could change the post after posting too. Sometimes that keyboard is just too quick. lol.

compared to the "hero's" of SOME minorities.....RUDY IS A HERO.....but, I agree......hero's are our military on duty in Iraq/Afghanistan/wherever! NOT politicians.

NOT locate police HQ in the Twin Towers. Hadn't he just completed his $25,000,000 Emergency Command Center ... located in the Twin Towers?

This really is the equivalent of blaming Pearl Harbor on the Mayor of Honolulu.
Logic of the left = If you are a Republican and act heroically and competently in unprecedented extraordinary circumstances, then they will attack you for not being better prepared. If you seek to be better prepared for a possible catastrophe, they accuse you of trying to frighten people for political advantage.
Assume George Bush was clairvoyant prior to 9-11 and the kind of security and he proposed the kind of security measures his critics claim could have prevented 9-11. It would have been these exact same critics who would have fought him tooth and nail to prevent those measures. The hypocrisy is breathtaking.
Then again the MSM doesn't have a problem with Jaime Gorelick on the 9-11 commission.

"Those two changes alone could have saved a lot of lives.
But he was too busy hiding his mistress from his wife..."
Yeah, you're right, Redbob... Rather than address those to issues, he figured "Hey, I'm going to ignore them, and make sure my wife doesn't find out I have a mistress..."
Get Real! In the days following an event this country had not seen since Pearl Harbor, he was going on MAYBE 2-3 hours sleep a night, making sure that New Yorkers felt like they were being kept somewhat safe... I place my bet on the likelihood you don't live within 5 states of New York..

Be shocked if Daley ever runs for anything but Mayor of Chi.
