I think thats one thing the catholic church needs to change its stance on.

That will never happen. One would think that people should conform to the Church; the Church should not conform to the whims of the people.

One has only to look at what happened to the Episcopal Church to see what happens when whims become more important that Church Law or the Holy Bible.......
