I really dont understand what posting this here has to to do with this story at all. You yourself confess it has nothing to do with the story.
So why post it here?
It's a form of racism. They expect the black kids will fail so they don't try to instill any discipline in them. They expect the white kids to do well so they lean on them to do better.
Folks around here have been trying to get some African-Americans to transfer in so we can have a winning football team ~ or maybe just to have a football team ~ or at least a couple of running backs and a center ~ something. Golf is big though.
We did blow up the levees in New Orleans so you have to expect some payback.
She graduated from Clarke County High School, after we moved to Berryville. There were enough Bubba's around to PROTECT the girls! But, that changed after she left, too.
I grew up in a military household. If a child got out of line, the father (women were wives in the old days!) got heat. It could even cause them to lose a job or post. That should be universal, except for the lack of full-time fathers in the black community... and moving the same way in the white community!

Because it's relevant to the general situation in the country. Don't you think the sitting assignments could have been made to protect younger white children from older black bullies on the bus?
I went to Coushatta Elementary in the early 50's when it was strictly segregated. Today the vast majority of white children in that district attend private school and the public scools are overwhelmingly black. I can see how the few white kids in the public schools could be in a world of trouble with these radicalized blacks. It would not suprise me to see these kids flee to the private school system soon.
It is not the driver who has to be worried about the upcoming lawsuit, it is the bus company and the school district. The deep pockets are who gets it. If the story is true, this driver is a complete and total ***hat. But I also agree with some people here that at this time the story is weak on details.

I have five children. They have experienced both worlds. I have come to the conclusion that homelife is just as important, if not more. We live in the real world. Maybe your rose-colored glasses need changing.
BTW, It's also none of your damn business why we choose to do the things we do... you should spend your time looking after yours. My children are doing fine... and my grandbabies, too!
