Well said Miss Marple and I think well can tell by her body language she is often not happy with decisions at the UN but political and international diplomacy detacts she can say nothing publically.
Oh really? Hmm...I guess I'll figure something out then. The place we're staying has a fridge and freezer in the basement we can use but that makes me kinda nervous. I don't really trust people that much that I'd wanna leave stuff in there. But I'll see when I get there, I guess.
That gave me a good chuckle
EWWW!! That's a really disgusting thought.
It will have a new community of people--all of us will have vanished. Just unthinkable!!!
Our sweet pickle relish is similar to Branston's in the way that
our jams and jellies are similar to your cherry jam.
Both serve the same purpose; the British version has tons more flavor.
Maybe I shouldn't have used that quote, eh? :)
Late last night, my friend, Mike, and I used a coupon from a local grocer's for free: hot dogs, buns, root beer, and mustard, got the food, and had an indoor picnic while watching the tape of Day Four of the PGA championship (where Tiger rocked again). I hadn't had hot dogs in years and it was cool.
WOW! WOW! WOW!
I just finished watching C-Span2's re-broadcast of Rocky's 'solo' press conference . . . If you didn't watch it, you MUST watch/record the re-play at 2:14 AM EDT -- EVERY American should watch this, especially the Spike Lee- loving/government dependent whiners who populate much of New Orleans!!!

Night all! [FR has been driving me crazy tonight (is something wrong with the site?) . . . time for bed!]
I love that movie! And that quote ;)
Maybe we should go with Rockey (I just watched C-SPAN 2, and I LOVE this guy!!), who said that other politicians are in there for life, so why should the President get just 8 years?
FOUR MORE YEARS!! FOUR MORE YEARS!!!
Is grilled cheese what we call toasted cheese. Toast with either sliced or grated cheese on top melted until it starts to brown under the grill (I believe you say broiler).
Thanks as always for your links
Where are you staying? In VA, I assume?
Anyway, since you're just talking about lunch, you can always just get individual servings of stuff like fruit, yogurt, soup, or sandwiches. You will no doubt have access to a microwave to heat individual servings of things.
Rockey is INCREDIBLE!!
(The President should take him on the road with him.........and young Jonathan, too... What a team THAT would be! :)
It was an Internet minute.
I set the eggs in the water, cover; put them on the burner (which I've already started heating); cook for five to six minutes on high till the water reaches a rolling boil;
then turn it to medium and boil, covered, for ten minutes.
Then I drain them, drop them (cracking them) into ice water for ten minutes so they don't get that awful sulphur ring, and CONSUME them.
"I feel that the world will realise after he has departed from office what a fine man and President he was it is just a shame that they never will whilst he is in office."
Yes, Eleanor I think you are so right...
And,
I so wish that the naysayers would see "The" as Dosers do...Heavy sigh...
And tis so sad won't realize it till after and not before.
Best wishes for tomorrow but do not pretend it is better than it is let him make the decision not you.
:0)
***Maybe I shouldn't have used that quote, eh? :)***
Awww, go ahead and use it. It's a good expression. I love you, Ohio.
