"If they are from Indonesia (Largest Muslim Country) that is South Asian." Wouldn't Indonesia be South East Asia?

Indonesia's part of South-East Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Timor, The Phillipines, Vitenam, Laos and Cambodia, you can also add in Burma (Myanmar) and Papua New guinea --> the last two are border regions you might say.
South-East Asia consists of the buffer region between the Indian and Chinese civilisations --> they are ethnically AND culturally a mix of both: with initial Chinese culture, then a deep Indian culture (as you find in Indonesia, which despite being majority Muslim, still has folk culture revolving around Hindu themes (the Mahabharat) and whose national airline (Garuda) is named after the holy eagle of one of the Hindu Gods.
Burma is, to a large extent, part of the Indian sub-continent, geographically and culturally South Asian (i.e.Indian)
Papua is melanesian: more related to the peoples in the SOlomon islands and Kiribati than to their Malay and Polynesian neighbors-->though many say that the Polynesians are descendents / cousins of the Malay people (Malay people include all peoples from the Phillipines, Indonesia and Malaysia who aren't of chinese/Indian origin)
